Registration

      In order to use the ASID Connex service, a user must create an account on this website.  An account requires the following information: name, telephone number, e-mail address, zip code or postal code, a summary of your current employment/occupation and your selection of a password. 

Public Profile

      The ASID Connex service is initially populated with minimum information concerning each ASID member.  Once you have registered with the ASID Connex service, you may submit additional information describing your skills, accomplishments and practice philosophies.  This additional information is not required. 

Information Collected By ASID

      When you enter the ASID Connex service, ASID will record your browser type and IP address, which is recorded from all ASID Connex users.  ASID will also record certain information using “cookies,” which is data stored on a user’s computer and contains information about the user.  The ASID Connex service uses session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in and these cookies terminate once you close your browser.  ASID may use a “persistent” cookie to store your login ID, making login easier, but this feature can be removed by adjusting your browser settings. 

Information Sharing

      ASID will not disclose user information to third-party marketers without your approval.  In limited circumstances, ASID may disclose user information when ASID believes that such disclosure is: (i) legally required, or (ii) reasonably necessary for the continuation of the ASID Connex service.  But, since the ASID Connex service is intended as a social and networking site, the profile information that users choose to display on their profiles will be available to other users.
